The problem

Your small dog wants to fetch endlessly, but your arm and patience give out after fifteen minutes. The gap between a dog's drive and an owner's stamina is real, especially indoors on rainy days. If your dog startles at mechanical noises or you have no clear launch corridor, this machine will collect dust.

What tends to help

Drop a mini ball into the top funnel and the motorised wheel fires it at one of three distance settings — roughly 3, 6, or 8 metres. Some dogs learn to reload the funnel themselves, turning it into a genuine solo activity. It runs on mains power or six C-cell batteries, so it works in the garden without an extension lead.

A straight answer: Only iFetch-sized mini balls fit the chute — standard tennis balls jam the mechanism and void the warranty.

Use the manufacturer-sized mini balls. Standard tennis balls are too large for the Mini and can damage the feeder.
